How to: Disconnect a Dial-Up Networking connection.
Solution:
Open 'Dial-Up Networking' dialog box, and select 'Disconnect'.
NOTE: When a Dial-Up Networking connection is made, the 'Dial-Up Networking' and 'Connected' buttons are displayed on the Taskbar.
Do one of the following to disconnect Dial-Up Networking:
1) Use the mouse to disconnect Dial-Up Networking:
a) Click the Dial-Up Networking 'Connected' button on the Window 95 Taskbar. (The Dial-Up Networking 'Connected' dialog box appears.)
b) Click 'Disconnect'. (The 'Dial-Up Networking' and 'Connected' buttons disappear from the Taskbar, and the connection is dropped.)
2) Use the keyboard to disconnect Dial-Up Networking:
a) Press ALT+ESC until the Dial-Up Networking 'Connected' dialog box appears. (The system sequentially displays the open applications as active.)
b) Press the DOWN ARROW key until the 'Disconnect' button in the dialog box is selected.
c) Press ENTER. (The 'Dial-Up Networking' and 'Connected' buttons disappear from the Taskbar, and the connection is dropped.)
